For most rotary vane pumps, the oil needs to be changed every 3–6 months with moderate use, or sooner if the pump runs daily.
In high-solvent or heavy-duty applications, check the oil weekly and replace it when it looks cloudy, discolored, or smells strongly of solvent. Always follow your pump manufacturer’s maintenance schedule for best results.
