This unit uses UV bulbs. The timer can run for a maximum of 59 minutes. Alternatively, If you can find one, the Stratagene UV Stratalinker can run for up to 999 minutes.
Does this system use UV bulbs or LEDs? Also can the timer be programmed to be longer than 59 min? AirClean Systems Shortwave UV Light Box for Surface Decontamination
Our lab needs a UV light box for converting proteins to different oxidative states. Our current UV system uses LEDs and can be not uniform in irradiation between wells in a 24-well plate.
