The fluid to be used in that unit can depend on the application and temperature range that you are expecting to see. Typically, silicone oil is the preferred thermal transfer fluid. The unit ships without thermal transfer fluid, the amount needed will be the total capacity of the heater/chiller and the total volume of your system. On our website under the resources tab, there is the manual for the unit.
