7.0 cm filter paper would fit better, as 7.5 cm does not allow for enough clearance. The ID of the 100 micron mesh is 7.29 cm.
I would like to use filter paper with this, though not sure what size the inside diameter is. Would it be 7 cm or 7.5 cm filter paper? Filter Plate Kit - Tri Clamp 3" With 100 Micron Mesh & Filter Ring - SS304
