I would like to use the USA Lab Stainless Steel 6" in. Buchner Funnel SS 304 with a vacuum pump. Please confirm this using can be connected to a vacuum pum to vacuum filter. Also the unit comes 150 Mesh (100 Micron). Any other options? 40-50 microns? Can I use a filter paper on top of the filter plate?

Yes, you can use a vacuum with this funnel. 150 mesh (100 Micron) is all we have available as far as stainless mesh is concerned. Filter paper can be used.
